next09 Conference
By Thorsten | Off Site | 2 Comments
Thanks to our successful submission for the next09 ticket pitch (by Sun’s Startup Essential Program) we will attend the next09 conference in Hamburg on May 05. This year’s next09 mantra “Share economy” perfectly matches our idea. So actually I’m wound up to a high pitch what we can get from the conference.

The line-up and the agenda for the conference read quite interesting. Particularly I’m looking forward to Jeff Jarvis’ Keynote “The Great Restructuring”. Anyway, there were quite a couple of interesting lectures last year, and I’m sure there will be even more this year. Will let you know.

Social Media Club Hamburg
By Thorsten | Off Site | No Comments
I will attend the 3rd meeting of the Social Media Club Hamburg tomorrow. The meeting will be hosted by ethority and Proximity in the Atlantik Building in the Hamburg harbor district. The lead topic for this meeting will be Crowdsourcing. Among others, Tchibo will outline their ideas on crowdsourcing.
From what I heard about previous meetings this kind of club in Hamburg seems to work out quite well… manifest evidence that Hamburg has established itself as the epicenter of social media in Germany.Social Media Club

Viral Media Day Hamburg
By Thorsten | Off Site | No Comments
Invited by dsg I’ve attended the Viral Media Day yesterday. It was a quite tightly scheduled and productive conference with juicy lectures. A well-rounded group of speakers was not only parading successful viral campaigns but also revealed insights on concepting, seeding and - last but least - planning. Actually the latter seems to be the dark horse (at least for outsiders).
